May 24 - GeoPartners Ltd, in partnership with Petroleum Directorate Sierra Leone - PDSL, are pleased to announce a new agreement to bring legacy 2D seismic datasets to the MC market. Over 7,000 km of vintage 2D seismic data, originally acquired in the 1980s and subsequently reprocessed in the early 2000s, is now available to companies to review and licence.
March 24 - GeoPartners are pleased to announce the agreement with Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V., in partnership with Trois Geoconsulting to acquire a Multi-Client Geochemical piston core project which will deliver empirical oil seep knowledge over the deepwater offshore blocks of Suriname.

June 23 - London (12th June 2023) GeoPartners are pleased to announce the availability of exclusive 3D seismic data sets offshore Senegal. In partnership with Petrosen E&P we are able to make available for multi-client licensing over 11,000 sq.km of high-quality 3D seismic data. The 3D surveys can also be tied into the larger regional scene via the NWAAM2012 and 2017 2D seismic surveys in the MSGBC Basin.

2022
October 22 - GEOPARTNERS LIMITED are pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive agreement with the Petrosen E&P (“Petrosen”), on behalf of the State of Senegal, to promote, market, and license over 11,000 sq.km of Multi-Client 3D Seismic data over five recently relinquished blocks offshore Senegal.
The 3D seismic data are modern long-offset PSTM and PSDM volumes which are processed to modern drill ready standard. The blocks are all available now to interested parties via direct-award following negotiation with Petrosen.
Elwyn Jones, Director of GeoPartners, announced, "We have a long-standing partnership with Petrosen and are are extremely pleased to have been entrusted to market and promote the 11,000 sq.km of high-quality 3D seismic data to interested oil companies. We are excited to bring this data to our clients as it covers open blocks which have proven prospectivity. We are further encouraged by Petrosen’s announcement that their fiscal terms are able to be negotiated as they motivated to welcome new partners to explore their offshore following the two world-class discoveries of Sangomar and Greater Tortue Ahmeyim coming on-stream next year”
July 22 – GEOPARTNERS LIMITED are pleased to announce the signing of an exclusive agreement with the INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE PETROLEO (“INP”), on behalf of the Government of Mozambique, to conduct a major new Multi-Client 3D Geophysical Survey in the offshore Angoche Basin.
The project will comprise the acquisition of a minimum 12,000 sq. km of 3D Multi-Client data over Blocks that will be awarded following the closure of the current 6th Licensing Round. Advanced new acquisition and imaging techniques will provide better illumination of complex structures to help reduce exploration risk and fast-track the region for potential production and development. Pre-acquisition permitting has started and it is anticipated that the 3D acquisition will commence in early 2023, with an expected duration of 6 months to complete and with early processed results available by end 2023.
Jim Gulland, Director of GeoPartners, announced, "We are honoured to have concluded this new Agreement with INP to acquire this very large 3D seismic survey in the relatively underexplored but highly prospective Angoche Basin. The upcoming new Multi-Client 3D seismic acquisition program will help accelerate the identification of what will surely be the next wave of major discoveries in Mozambique.”
February 22 – Instituto Nacional De Petroleo of Mozambique (INP) would like to extend an invitation to interested parties to register for the Mozambique 6th Licensing Round Virtual Roadshow on Wednesday, 2nd February 2022 at 4pm Central Africa Time (CAT).
The virtual roadshow will showcase opportunities of the 6th Round to investors and interested parties and provide a platform for industry engagement ahead of the Pre-Qualifying deadline of the 28th February 2022.
During the sessions INP experts will be available to provide overviews and respond to specific questions on acreage on offer, legal, regulatory, contractual and fiscal aspects, as well as available technical data and License Round Terms.
GeoPartners will be giving an overview of the legacy data we hold. The Virtual Roadshow will conclude with a panel of industry experts speaking on the investment opportunity in Mozambique.

November 21 – On the 25th November in Maputo, the Mozambique 6th Licence Round was officially opened by the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, H.E. Ernesto Max Elias Tonela. On behalf of the Instituto Nacional De Petroleo of Mozambique (INP), GeoPartners are making available legacy 2D and 3D seismic datasets for Multi-Client licensing. July 2021 - GeoPartners are pleased to announce the release of their RovumaMerge 21 3D volume offshore Rovuma Basin in Mozambique. In order to provide a regionally consistent data volume across the whole of the offshore Rovuma Basin area, GeoPartners has merged and reconditioned the existing 2D and 3D seismic surveys into a single matched data volume. This volume comprises over 20,000 sq. km of 3D seismic and over 16,000 km of 2D seismic. Full offset and angle stacks are available over an area of over 45,000 sq. km.

December 2020 - ACCRA, GHANA - GeoPartners JV signs major Multi-Client agreement – TG-GEOPARTNERS LIMITED are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with the Petroleum Commission of Ghana to conduct a major Multi-Client 3D Geophysical Survey in the Keta Basin, offshore Ghana.
June 2020 - Angola Onshore Bid Round 2020 – Lower Congo Basin 2D Seismic Data availability - With reference to the recent announcement by the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) that the Data Packages for blocks for oil exploration in the Terrestrial Basin of the Lower Congo were now available (CON1, CON5 and CON6), GeoPartners, in association with Trois Geoconsulting and DDMS, is pleased to announce the availability of existing 2D seismic data for viewing and licensing in advance of the 2020 Bid Round.
January 2020 - The National Oil Company of Senegal, PETROSEN, has officially launched the country’s 2020 offshore licensing round at the MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition in Dakar, Senegal. The licensing round comprises twelve blocks on offer in the MSGBC Basin, offshore Senegal. Companies will be able to submit bids over the coming six months, with final applications delivered to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy at the latest by Friday, July 31st, 2020. January 2019 - GeoPartners, in partnership with the Petroleum Directorate of Sierra Leone, is pleased to announce a new 2D seismic survey offshore Sierra Leone to support the 4th Offshore Petroleum Licensing Round planned for later this year. Acquisition is planned to commence after completion of the necessary regulatory approvals.
December 2018 - new SNR18 2D survey completed using Seabird vessel Harrier Explorer, which demobbed Nov.2018; data now in processing with DUG.
