GeoPartners Ltd, in partnership with Petroleum Directorate Sierra Leone - PDSL, are pleased to announce a new agreement to bring legacy 2D seismic datasets to the MC market. Over 7,000 km of vintage 2D seismic data, originally acquired in the 1980s and subsequently reprocessed in the early 2000s, is now available to companies to review and licence.

The data is perfect for Broadband Reprocessing to upgrade the datasets to current imaging standards. We've recently had many positive conversations with clients interested in exploring offshore Sierra Leone, while seeking pre-funding for a new deep water >7,000 km 2D seismic survey to acquire data that will illuminate the subsurface links with the pre-breakup Guyana-Suriname basin. This new legacy dataset will help provide the tie from the deep water to the shallow coastal areas.”
